A first entry from 303TheStudio—and an invitation into the travels, creative rituals and ordinary moments we are learning to collect.
Hello, and welcome.
We should probably begin by admitting that we don’t have everything figured out. This website has existed as an idea for much longer than it has existed as a collection of finished stories. There were photographs waiting in folders, half-written notes, abandoned captions and several conversations beginning with, “We really should do something with all this.”
So, here we are—finally doing something with all this.
We are an Indian couple living in Ireland. One of us is an extroverted artist who thinks aloud, gets excited about colours and will stop walking because a flower deserves to be photographed. The other is a quieter, tech-minded reader who works from home, solves problems calmly and would probably like to finish his chapter before being shown the flower.
Somehow, it works.
Our personalities may be different, but we share a curiosity about places and the lives unfolding inside them. We enjoy the famous view, of course—but we are equally interested in the crooked doorway nearby, the café we entered to escape the rain and the conversation that followed us home.
What are we doing here?
303thestudio is our place to collect those details before time quietly edits them out.
You’ll find stories from our travels around Ireland, beginning with the coastlines, towns and roads closest to us. There will also be notes from Copenhagen—our first European chapter—and eventually, we hope, many more places.
But this will not be a website written by people pretending to have seen the entire world.
We are still learning how we like to travel. We have jobs, responsibilities, budgets and the occasional disagreement about how early one really needs to reach the airport. We are not experts standing at the finish line. We are two curious people sharing what we discover while we are discovering it.
That means our travel posts will include the useful parts: where we stayed, what something cost, what was worth the time and what we might do differently. But we also want to preserve the feeling of being there—the weather, the light, the unexpected moments and the small things no itinerary remembers for you.
There is life between the trips
Travel is only one part of what happens here.
At home, there are paintings in progress, photographs being edited, books being read and cups of coffee appearing beside laptops. There are creative experiments, work-from-home routines, unfinished plans and perfectly ordinary days that occasionally become memorable for no obvious reason.
We want to write about those days too.
You may find a photo essay about the Irish landscape beside a post about making art. A practical city guide might be followed by something quieter about home, creativity or the strange process of turning a camera roll into a story.
It may sound like a mixture, because it is. So are most real lives.
What we hope you’ll find
We hope this becomes a place you visit for honest travel notes, photographs with stories behind them and ideas that make you look at familiar things with fresh attention.
Perhaps you are planning a trip. Perhaps you are building a creative life alongside a full-time job. Perhaps you simply enjoy reading about two people trying to make something together without turning every moment into a productivity exercise.
Whichever version brought you here, there is room for you.
We cannot promise a perfectly polished life, expert-level travel wisdom or photographs taken without one of us saying, “Wait, stand there again.”
We can promise curiosity, honesty, plenty of visual details and stories written by the people who actually lived them.
This is our first entry—not a grand announcement, but an open door.
